Privacy Policy

Really Cool Ads (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates reallycoolads.com (the “Site”) and provides an ad creative subscription service (the “Service”), including the online client portal we host for you. This Privacy Policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

By using the Site or Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Information you provide directly. When you book a call, subscribe, or communicate with us, we may collect your name, email address, company name, billing details, and any brand assets or content you share with us to deliver the Service.

Information from Google Sign-In. If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, profile picture, and Google account ID from Google’s OAuth service. We do not receive your Google password. We use this information solely to authenticate you and provide the Service.

Information from a connected advertising account. If you connect the ad account where you run the creatives we produce, we receive account and performance information from that platform. This is described in full under Connected Advertising Accounts.

Automatically collected information. When you visit the Site, we and our analytics providers automatically collect device and usage information such as your IP address, browser type, referring pages, pages visited, time spent, clicks, scrolls, and other interaction data. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies.

Part of the Service lets you connect the Meta (Facebook and Instagram) ad account where you run the creatives we produce, so we can report on how those creatives actually performed. Connecting is optional, you start it yourself from the portal, and you can disconnect at any time. We use Facebook Login for Business, and Meta shows you which permissions you are granting before you approve them.

What we receive about you. When you approve the connection, Meta gives us your Facebook user ID, your name on Facebook, the list of permissions you granted, and an access token. We never receive your Facebook password. The access token is not used to sign you in to the Service. It is a credential that lets us read the ad account you connected.

How we store the access token. The token is encrypted before we store it, and it is decrypted only inside the automated jobs that call Meta on your behalf. It remains valid until it expires, or until you disconnect the account, revoke it in your Facebook settings, or ask us to delete it.

What we read from your ad account. Once an account is connected, we import the following on a daily schedule and whenever you request a refresh:

• Account details — the ad account ID, account name, currency, and time zone.
• Ads — ad IDs and names, creative IDs, delivery status, and the date each ad was created.
• Creative images — the file names your media buyer uploaded and the image identifiers Meta assigns them. We also download images from the account’s creative library to compute a small visual fingerprint, which is how we tell which ads are running the creatives we delivered.
• Daily performance — spend, impressions, clicks, purchases, and purchase value, broken out by day.

We import performance figures only for ads we can match to creatives we produced for you. Ads running your in-house or another vendor’s creative are identified so that they can be excluded, and their performance figures are not imported or counted.

How we use it. To match delivered creatives to the ads running them, report performance back to you in the portal, and improve the creative work we do for you. We do not sell this data, and we do not share one client’s advertising data with another.

Disconnecting. You can disconnect an ad account at any time from the portal, and you can remove our app entirely from your Facebook settings under Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites. Either action stops all syncing and deletes the stored access token.

Deletion requests. Removing our app in Facebook also triggers Meta’s data deletion request flow. When we receive that request, we delete the stored access token and the Facebook profile details attached to the connection, and we return a confirmation code you can use to check the status of the request.

What we keep after you disconnect. Performance records we already imported — spend, impressions, clicks, purchases, and the ads and creatives they relate to — are retained after an account is disconnected. They are our record of the work we delivered and we need them for billing, reporting history, and resolving disputes. To have those records deleted as well, email us at hello@reallycoolads.com.

Our use of information received from Meta’s APIs adheres to the Meta Platform Terms and Developer Policies.

We use the following third-party services to operate and improve the Site and Service:

• Google Analytics — measures traffic, sources, and on-site behavior. Learn more in Google’s privacy policy. You can opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
• Crazy Egg — records aggregated heatmaps, scrolls, and click behavior to help us understand how the Site is used. Learn more in Crazy Egg’s privacy policy. You can opt out at crazyegg.com/opt-out.
• Google OAuth — provides authentication when you sign in with Google. Use of information received from Google APIs adheres to Google’s API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
• Meta (Facebook and Instagram) — supplies the advertising data described under Connected Advertising Accounts, if you choose to connect an ad account. Learn more in Meta’s Privacy Policy. You can review and remove connected apps at your Facebook apps settings.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and deliver the Service, including producing and delivering ad creatives.
• Import and report on the performance of ads running the creatives we delivered, where you have connected an advertising account.
• Authenticate accounts and prevent unauthorized access.
• Communicate with you about your account, billing, projects, and support requests.
• Measure and improve the performance of the Site and Service.
• Send marketing communications you have agreed to receive (you can unsubscribe at any time).
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and measure how the Site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect parts of the Site.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with service providers who help us run our business (such as payment processors, hosting providers, and the analytics tools listed above), with your consent, or where required by law, court order, or to protect our rights.

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Advertising performance records imported from a connected ad account are retained after that account is disconnected. See Connected Advertising Accounts for what we keep and how to have it removed.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to opt out of certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@reallycoolads.com.

If you have connected an advertising account, you can disconnect it at any time from the portal or remove our app in your Facebook settings, which deletes the stored access token.

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated where required.
